Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows 10 - These versions of Windows are no longer supported, and SketchUp no longer tests features and bugs in these older versions. While the software may still work correctly, there may be some problems with features that have not been tested.

Import 2 D images in the following formats:

• JPEG image (.jpg)
• Portable Network Graphics (.png)
• Tagged Image File (.tif)
• Targa File (*.tga)
• Windows (.bmp) image

Import the following 3 D models and information.

• SketchUp (.skp).
• Google Earth Relief. Note:. It is possible to obtain the current image (black and white snapshot) of the area, which is displayed in Google Earth using the Get current view button. Two versions of terrain images are imported: 2D and 3D, and you can switch between them using the Toggle Terrain button. Images of the area are used for references only and are not included in the model when it is located on Google Earth. The image includes links to the latitude and longitude of the model in Google Earth, so they can also be used to study shadows. Google Earth does not export its own 3D building models (buildings that appear when you select the Buildings layer in Google Earth). This information is protected and cannot be disseminated without the permission of the copyright holderconsequently, there is no provision for importing such buildings into SketchUp.

• Placing models on Google Earth. Placing SketchUp models on Google Earth is done using the Place model command. SketchUp will automatically detect the version of Google Earth that is being used (3 or 4) and create the corresponding KMZ file. (New versions of SketchUp and Google Earth currently support displaying textures and images on Google Earth.)

• Export Google Earth file directly to KMZ format (Google Earth 3 or 4). Google Earth 3 files can be viewed in both versions of Google Earth, but textures are only displayed in Google Earth 4. Google Earth 4 files will not be displayed in Google Earth 3.

• Model exchange in the 3D model service. When sending models hosted on Google Earth, SketchUp (.skp) and Google Earth 3 (.kmz) files will be created. If a new version of SketchUp is installed, the Google Earth 4 file (.kmz) will also be created when sent.

• Provision is made to print part of the model displayed in the drawing area of the SketchUp program.

• Print and export bitmaps with the selected resolution.

• Create additional programs using the Ruby programming language.

5. If your OS language settings are different from the required one and SketchUp is running in the wrong localization, then we move on to C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2026\SketchUp\Resources
   A folder en-US (in the case of the English interface) we rename it to en-US_backup
   A folder with the required localization (en - for Russification) rename to en-US
