Description:

You — are the leader of one of these republics, and you have to determine the fate of one of these city-states, leading it to glory and power — or watch it disappear into the streams of history.
City States: Medieval — is a bold continuation of Reverie World Studios' long-running strategy series, introducing completely new mechanics focused not on empires spanning entire continents, but on survival between them as a city-state. The dynamic and unpredictable Europe and the Middle East of the 12th century offer new challenges, and the completely new mechanics of the heroes require a completely fresh approach to strategy from both beginners and veterans.
Build a powerful city
The city — is the heart of your trading empire. Plan your expansion and act accordingly, developing the city through the economy, military power, faith, trade and chains of buildings. Don't neglect defense: you lead a city-state surrounded by powerful kingdoms that may decide to plunder the city's wealth. Fortifications will be the key to defending your city, along with a completely new siege system that combines real-time tactical combat with tower defense mechanics.
Build trade routes
Trade — the key to the survival of the city. Establish new trading posts throughout the known world to gain access to twelve valuable commodities — from wool and linen to spices and silk. With each new trade route, opportunities expand, bringing with them more wealth and fame. Each path also makes the city a more attractive target for rival powers, which requires a strategic approach and the ability to maneuver in the insidious world of medieval politics and wars.
Manage through your hero
In an era of great people shaping history, your leader is no exception. By gaining experience and skills with the city, it determines how you can react: fight battles and defend the city in real time, stimulate the growth and construction of the city, or carry out complex intrigues at foreign courts. Every decision — is a calculated risk: should he be sent on expeditions to distant lands in search of new markets, leaving the city more vulnerable? Or focus on strengthening your hometown at the risk of missing out?

Problems installing and running repacks? (not just mine)

If you encounter errors when installing my or any other repacks (especially with Xdelta or Unarc.dll), try the following actions:

1. Rehash the torrent! for example, in uTorrent you need to select a game, press stop, right-click, and select Force re-check.
2. Make sure your Windows username doesn't have Russian or other non-Latin letters - only Latin letters and numbers are acceptable
3. Turn off the antivirus - it can falsely trigger medications, which will either interrupt the installation of the repack, or simply prevent the game from starting
4. Disable UAC - it can block unpacking/assembly programs inside the installer
5. Make sure that your virtual memory size (swap file) is at least as large as physical memory, or better yet, twice as large.
6. Make sure you have enough space on the target hard drive as well as on the Windows temporary files drive.
7. Try installing the game NOT on disk C:, or vice versa - ON disk C:, if you don’t install it on another, the rights in Windows are such a thing...
8. See if there is an unarc.dll file in the Windows system folder (and deeper). If there is one, remove it
9. Run the installer with the rights shown in the image (Properties menu when you right-click on the file):
